Employment Bills of Concern to Businesses: End of Nevada’s 81st Legislative Session

The Nevada Legislature adjourned its 81st session late in the evening on May 31, 2021. Dozens of employment related bills are of great interest to Nevada’s business community. Lindsay Knox, a Vice President in McDonald Carano’s Government Affairs & Advocacy Group, provided important updates on the status of employment bills in the May 2021 and June 2021 issues of Nevada News, a newsletter published by the Retail Association of Nevada (RAN). RAN is a nonpartisan, nonprofit corporation founded in 1969 representing the Retail Community, Chain Drug Council, and Grocery Industry Council.
